Wild About Wakulla

We were out this past weekend at the Wild About Wakulla Festival. We had a great time. But I have to say, my favorite part were the kids. They are SO STINKIN CUTE! Like this little guy:

We will be out at the Blue Crab Festival (In the Parade!) the first Saturday in May too. Come out and enjoy candy and fun times! See you there!

April Already!

Wow! What an exciting time of year! We are 4 months away from our banquet, and are so thrilled! It is also the time of year for all of the amazing craft shows and festivals! We will be at Wild About Wakulla and Worm Gruntin' in a few weeks, and really hope to see everyone there.

This just in - the details for our 6th Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet!

Date: August 10th, 2013
Time: 5pm
Where: Wakulla County Senior Center

Tickets: $55 - Adult
$25 - Kids
$105 - Couple (2 adults)

Sponsor level tickets are also available. Please contact us for additional information on these.

Come and show your support for wildlife conservation while having great food, winning prizes, playing games, and enjoying great live and silent auctions! We hope to see you there!

Wakulla County Longspurs

The Wakulla County Longspurs are a proud local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). The NWTF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to the conservation of wild turkeys and the preservation of the hunting heritage. Through dynamic partnerships with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies the NWTF and its more than 350,000 members have helped restore wild turkey populations across the country, raised and spent more than $331 million, and conserved nearly 15.9 million acres of habitat for all types of wildlife. The NWTF was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Edgefield, SC.
